Historical Note: The Lost Colony Suite takes its name from the renowned Lost Colony play, a cultural cornerstone of the region. Adding to its storied legacy, the suite once served as a temporary haven for the legendary Andy Griffith during his time in Manteo, where he performed his final acting role in the namesake production. For nearly two years, Mr. Griffith resided intermittently in this very suite while his permanent home was constructed, leaving an indelible mark on its history.
